Damn.
Was hoping BIRDS would have revenged The ACES and Drake's loss to OVC member Murray State.
SIU, will have to carry the water for The VALLEY, on Monday.

I wouldn't count on it sadly. I hate this Big 4 Classic with a passion. I would much rather we play another team in a home and home than keep playing this thing.
Come on! This is a chance to smack down the in state bad guys.

Might as well bring Murray State into the MVC.

Looks like Reggie fouled out and they took advantage. Oh well. At least we are playing for a National Championship in football. Go Redbirds!

So down 2 starters (leading scorer Akoon-Purcell plus Deontae Hawkins) and a 3rd player (#3 scorer Bobby Hunter) still recovering from a concussion, the Redbirds go on the road, and except for the last 4 minutes, give Murray St. a heck of a game. The Racers are now #90 in RPI-live, while ISU's Redbirds slip down to #54.
It'll be interesting to see how the Redbirds play when they get back to full strength.

Iowa and UNI are putting together a fantastic game thus far. Panthers play solid basketball.
