Ok guys rank your order. Here is who I think are the candidates:

Gregg Marshall - Shockers at 17-2 continue to roll in MVC havent lost in conference play since 2 season ago
Ben Jacobson - Quality wins and UNI has a record of 17-2
Greg Lansing - Adjust to not having JO, horrible non-conference then finally adjust and come out strong in MVC
Porter Moser - The turn around at Loyola after the horrible season last year with no bigs this season
Marty Simmons - highly doubt it unless one of the other 4 coaches start stinking it up.

I think you interchange Lansing and Moser order depending on the case you make. Sycamores have the tougher stretch so will have to see how they handle this brutal stretch. Obviously still have a lot of games to be played but just wanted to see everybody's opinions.

I kinda like Coach Lansing for number 1.

Any of the first four you could make a case for. Simmons, absolutely no way, unless he wins the conference.

It's probably a little early on Moser and Lansing, but if things continue the way they have they will certainly be in the mix. Marshall just continues to blow me away with how well he coaches. Just have to vote for him.

1. Marshall
2. Lansing
3. Jacobson
4. Moser

Up to this point I would have:
1. Lansing
2. Marshall
3. Jacobson
4. Moser

I would say the coach of whichever team is in the top 3 that wasn't picked to be there, and this would include Simmons, if they could pull it off.

Well, there is a long way to go yet, but at this point in time, I would have to go with Lansing. If Marty wins out, and wins St. Louis, then he might have a shot, until then, no way.

If Indiana St. finishes 3rd (or higher), I think it goes to Lansing.

An undefeated run through the Valley earns it for Marshall. If WSU drops one or two, then someone else will probably win it.

I would probably count Jake as most likely in that scenario since UNI is the team with the best chance to beat WSU.
