The Aces bench is really coming through. Some of those guys look like they can really play.

Aces 33-41 free throws. It is all you need to know.

Apparently, the Trees thought they were in a hack-a-thon.

Oh, one more thing. Mr. Lightning Sky Walker scored 14. When he scores 14, you gotta know that the opponent's D was not up to par.

Looking at the box score and the fan comments; seems like this was a classic MVC foul-fest. Thanks, refs! Glad I didn't have to watch.

49 fouls, 63 FTs. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Congrats on the win, UE.

I hear what you're saying, but honestly I felt this was more exciting than just another MVC FT shooting contest.
On Saturday, SIU@UE was painful to watch, sloppy and constant whistles. Tonight, despite all the free throws and whistles, the teams combined for over 100 FG attempts, and both teams shot well; ISU-43% UE-53%. It was a high energy game, very up-tempo with lots of fast breaks both ways, yet not uncontrollably so, as it didn't become a slop-fest (see again: SIU@UE).

I can see why Trees fans will point at the FT stats as deciding the game, but I went to the game with 3 IN St Alumni, and I think we all agreed UE was the better team tonight.

Add to that many (13) of The ACES ft's attempts came in the last 3 minutes, when ISU was fouling to extend the game.
