UNI lost there last year after being up 10 with about 6 to go. Carbondale has never been a fun trip for the Panthers. Big challenge to get up for this after Sunday's escape and with Saturday's match-up looming-hopefully the seniors step up and take care of business.

SIU has won 14 of the last 17 games in carbondale

January 27th

7pm Indiana State ay Evansville - ESPN3 - big game for both teams, an ISU win gives the Sycamores a major advantage for being a 3 seed or higher. An Evansville win puts them back in the running for a top 3 seed.

January 28th

7pm MSU @ Illinois State - ESPN3 - can Illinois State win on the road? a win pretty much gets them out of Thursday.

7pm Loyola @ WSU - ESPN3 - with no Doyle get out the jam, Loyola is toast

7pm Drake @ Bradley - ESPN3 - Can Drake get itself out of sole possession of 10th place? Maybe

7:05pm UNI @ SIU - no TV - UNI needs another big effort to win another road game in Illinois.

Ill take Aces, Redbirds (at home), Shockers, Braves, Panthers to win which would make the standings look like this.

Shockers 9-0
Panthers 8-1
Aces 6-3
Trees 6-3
Redbirds 5-4
Ramblers 3-6
Braves 3-6
Bears 2-7
Salukis 2-7
Bulldogs 1-8

Be a fun one on Saturday.

I agree with all but one. I got Trees beating the Aces. Once again Evansville will get Evansville'd lol All joking aside Trees usually defend Ballentine pretty well. With Mislav being out I think that hurts UE offense a lil bit especially with Wing not at 100% (Aces fans would know more than I do) and the Trees are shooting much better than they were. Comes down to UE's defense vs Tree's offense.

Fear not. The MSU board does a pretty good job of pointing out that Lusk will not make any brilliant coaching moves that might benefit his team's chances of winning a game.

Yes Muller has both the talent and coaching advantage in this one. I'm not too confident about Lusk's homework completion

It wouldn't matter, the birds would score more than 50 either way creating an insurmountable edge.

Which team is supplying the UE/ISUb feed to ESPN3?

It's cheap local HS quality at it's finest. The audio from the crowd is horribly distorted
