I don't think they look lost? UNI is just playing really well. The surprise for me is how often the UNI guards are getting inside on dribble drives.

What a great showcase game for the MVC!

Didn't mean "lost" as in that they will lose the game.
Just never watched them play, even from behind, without their patented swagger.

No mention of UNI in that feature on the last two MVC to meet as ranked teams. Doesn't ESPN know those games didn't count?

Boy, you sure showed us.

I apologize you can't take a simple joke.

How did you enjoy the 1st half? Or did you miss it while whacking off to photos Ralph Miller?

Really?

True colors are starting to come out for the first time in 28 Valley games.

Yes really. I find it hilarious that someone took so much offense to a peach basket joke and chose to talk down about UNI not being a D-I team at that time, as if that had some sort of relevance to the game. That joke was harmless and I doubt anyone else really read it as a huge slight against WSU. Anyone who knows unipanthers99 knows he doesn't delve into bush league stuff like that. I came here wanting to talk about today's game. That's what the thread title is talking about.

Great start to the game so far. The first 10 mins were really exciting to watch and a great showcase of MVC basketball. The last 10 mins were a great showcase of UNI's defensive execution and overall depth. Getting contributions from a ton of guys but Seth Tuttle and Wes Washpun have been fantastic. Shockers post defense just doesn't have a horse who can guard Seth.

That being said it could be 30 pts and I wouldn't be comfortable against the Shox. They have more than enough talent to come charging back and turn the tables.

Washpun's ability to get past Cotton and drive is really surprising me.

Tuttle's performance isn't. Shaq struggles with committing fouls, and Carter isn't a good defender.

Embarrassed to say that I have completely overlooked Seth Tuttle as a potential POY. I had him first team, yes... but today is eye opening. He's the leader in the clubhouse if this continues, right?

Didn't Coach Marshall start the game with a tie on?

At this point, absolutely.

He's getting a lot of favorable no-calls in this game, though. His performance @WSU will be very interesting to watch.

Panthers have been notorious for letting up too early and has allowed Loyola, SIU and Bradley to all make comeback bids. It's not a matter of "if" for me but a matter of "when". Seriously. Gregg might be sweating but Panther fans are too. It's Wichita State folks. You think they're going to roll over and wait for the bus to warm up? C'mon.

Shockers pressure and zone already making the Panthers look vulnerable
