I think us Panther fans have a soft spot in our hearts for Higgins ever since he called over a police officer to perp walk Fran McCaffery off the McLeod Center floor. That said, I think he does a good job, particularly in big games.

Carter really worries me. He had a great game in the McLeod Center last year (although WSU did have 5 guys with 12 or more last year). He really impressed me that game, and seemed to give us trouble. The fact that at times we had trouble stopping Djimde from SIU makes me wonder about our game plan against Carter on the inside.

I thought Tuttle kind of struggled against WSU last year too. He's really playing at a higher level this year though so it will be really interesting to see how the post matchups go. If Carter is out or impaired I would think UNI would focus on going inside even more than usual.

Higgins is usually good... but when he has an off game, he is AWFUL. Hopefully, if he is reffing the game on Saturday, then he has an on game.

WSU has 4 centers on the team and all of them played against Loyola. Carter, Morris, Wamukota, and Nurger totaled 36 minutes, so Tevin Glass probably got 4 of his 9 minutes there too.

Darius played one minute in the second half prior to picking up a third foul and being benched. Kelly played at least a couple of possessions with Brown, Cotton, Baker, and VanVleet in the second half.
