This game deserves its own thread. It is the first matchup between ranked MVC foes since 1982, and the highest ranked tilt in the Valley since Memphis-Louisville 40 years ago. Very cool and fans of both teams should take a moment to appreciate the rarity.

Should be a fun game and a great atmosphere.

Hope the league spent some extra coin on officials. Your typical Saturday Valley crew has no business doing this game. If Zelton shows up, I will lose it.

I'm pulling for no Paul Janssen. He hates Fred VanVleet.

I really hope that the officials are not an issue in this one, and both teams are able to play their games.

I'm predicting Higgins, Kissinger, and Eades.

Perhaps they can bring Ed Hightower out of retirement for this one?

Just as long as Zelton Steed doesn't walk in I will be fine.

Darius Carter having some back problems. Didn't play second half against Drake. Only played 6 minutes against Loyola (partly due to fouls).

WSU has 4 centers on the team and all of them played against Loyola. Carter, Morris, Wamukota, and Nurger totaled 36 minutes, so Tevin Glass probably got 4 of his 9 minutes there too.

The 4 centers had 9 fouls between them in their 36 minutes.

Wamukota, Nurger, and Glass seem to be the end of the bench, although Glass's game on offense is picking up a bit. Should be an opportunity for Tuttle to rack up some Player of the Week stats.
