Put down the kool-aid!

Because we only have seven players that can be truly trusted -- and two of those are freshmen. If we end up in a dog fight in the first game, where the starters have to play deep minutes, fatigue is going to be a serious issue over three days.

I'm less worried about that in the NCAA tournament, where the bench doesn't matter as much. In Arch Madness, we're going to need a relatively easy first game to rest the starters for games two/three.

1) Shox blow an early game because they'd rather not give UNI the opportunity to win the season series.

2) Shox are so focused on UNI that they lose to the winner of the SIU/MSU game.

3) The Shox don't need to win any games, but fail to lose to the SIU/MSU winner despite trying every way possible to do that. Then they give the next game to Evansville to get an extra day or 2 of rest, give Evansville a chance to go to the NCAA's for the first time since 1894, and save Marty Simmons' job.

4) Tuttle mistakes ScottTrade for his home court and goes off for 32 points and 16 rebounds.

because our last 12 games have been L-W-L-W-L-W-L-W-L-W-L-W, hence Friday will be a loss to keep the W-L streak going.

Because the Bears just aren't a good basketball team. We are totally overmatched by UNI, WSU, ISUb, ISUr, and Evansvile. I'm not sure I've ever been more certain of a 1st or 2nd round exit by my team at arch madness.

I'd be done with college basketball for the year except for UNI and WSU's brilliance this year. Really hoping for an entertaining ncaa tourney run by one or both teams.
