That leaves WSU with one open scholarship to go get an impact post player for next year.

Or Clayton Custer...

It has also been noted that Conner Frankamp will be a walk-on again next season.

Currently, WSU has two four star freshman coming in along with four star walk-on transfer Conner Frankamp. As well, WSU will be adding two three star freshman and a post to be named later.

If we land Clayton Custer I would say 90% chance he's a walk-on during his redshirt year.

Heard from a person that typically has pretty good info that Custer is seriously considering giving up basketball and playing baseball at K-State.

No idea what he's going to do, but he is visiting WSU, Mizzu, Creighton, and Loyola.

DU's Karl Madison is leaving per @VerbalCommits on twitter.
The preceding lesson in basketball is free of charge.

That's interesting, since Madison was a 5th year senior this year. Only possibility is that he's looking for a 6th year, as he missed 2 complete seasons with injuries. Madison is a great kid and a great student who has already completed one year of grad school. Injuries prevented him from ever becoming the player that Drake fans were hoping to see. He was actually rated higher than Rayvonte Rice when Drake signed them both out of central Illinois.

Jordan Daniels is another Drake player who seemingly had used up his eligibility this season, and is now on the transfer list.....he also must be petitioning the NCAA for another year of eligibility....he lost a complete season of eligibility due to the timing of his transfer from Boston College to Drake.

If they graduated, they don't have to sit.

I realize that, but both were theoretically out of eligibility after this past season. Both will have to appeal to the NCAA for an extra season. Madison will be in his 6th year next season, and the NCAA rarely grants a 6th year. Daniels' story is a little different, here's a link to explain his situation.

Per NCAA rules, he had already used up all 4 years of eligibility.
