I agree with everything but the "Good effort" part.

49 points? Yuck.

Expected IlSt to pull that one out over a team they'd beaten already.

That may have been the worst game we've played all season minus @SIU...blah.

Those of us who live in Illinois and follow the Chicago Bears have come to see there is a good Jay and a bad Jay Cutler and you never know which QB is going to show up.

That's the way it was this season for ISUr. There was the good Redbirds and the bad Redbirds and you never knew which team was going to show up. Tonight the bad Redbirds made it to ODU. It was not a good effort on their part tonight.

Wait till next year I guess. That's what Cub fans say.

The Birds have been a year away all season. Next year should pay dividends.

As many of us know its a little harder to beat teams on their home floor (ie WSU @ UNI)... It wasn't the greatest effort but at least they kept fighting. I'm sure there are a few underclassmen that can use this game/season as a learning experience.

Indeed. That's what makes WSU's 22-2 road record these last two seasons so remarkable.

Such a run requires a level of mental toughness that Dan Muller should aspire for his squad to mimic every second of every day.

Wow awfully defensive.... I was just pointing out that the last time these teams played was on a neutral court. This time it was at ODU (undefeated at home). Even the best teams have a greater likelihood of losing on the road.

ODU played amazing defense last night. They really scouted us well. One of the better defensive opponents we have played all season. ISUr never really got into a rhythm.
