I don't think Texas will offer him. I don't even think he will be their first choice.

Its already been reported that Marshall and shaka are the top candidates. I think it would completely change Wichita if Marshall were to leave. I think there's alot of worried people in kansas right about now.

But the point your missing is just because Shaka or Marshall would like the job doesn't necessarily make them the target of Texas. There was once source that said don't be suprised if Texas doesn't look to the NBA for their coach.

Frankly, if I was Texas and it came down between Shaka and Marshall - don't you go with the younger guy?

No not always, they want a replacement in a week. So it will be interesting.

Shaka is younger but I'd take Marshall. I really think he would win anywhere and do it within a few years.

Marshall recruits Texas already and delivers Thon Maker and probably Ron Baker. He's the guy.

Why isn't Ben Jacobson on any of these lists?

The rumor mill lists for these openings. Would Jacobson turn down $4MM?

Jacobson has been mentioned as a candidate for many job openings this year and previous years. I'm not sure what you are talking about.

Is there an official rumor mill list you are referring to in which Jacobson's name has been omitted? Or maybe you are just frustrated at the prospect of losing your coaching and are trying to get a cheap jab in.

Can you please list the openings Jacobson has been in the running for this year? You basically rehashed the original question, got sort of butthurt, and didn't even answer it.
