Final game was played less than 24 hours ago and ESPN and Joe Lunardi, have already posted NEXT season's bracketology and rankings.
SHOX at #10
And a sixth seed in March, with no other VALLEY bid.

He's got UNI 'Next 4 out'. If our bigs are ready to go, we're a tournament team again.

UNI is going to have a TON of size to play with the next 3-4 years if the all "pan out"

I agree that these are entirely meaningless at this point, before we even have an idea what everyone's rosters look like.

BUT, it says a lot about what is wrong with college basketball today that people at the same sports desk think a team will be the 10th best in the country next year, but also deserve a 6 seed.

It's not the people at the sports desk that decide seedings, it's the selection committee. The guys at the sports desk use the criteria they know the committee will use.

The same thing happened to us this year, so I don't think that's an unreasonable prediction. Although I do think this year was an anomaly given our nonconference SOS and how many programs had their worst year in recent memory after playing us. If we beat Utah at home we're a seed or two higher than this year even if everything else stays equal.

Sadly not. Bennett is the last boy. Though maybe the little sister is good enough to play at UNI on the womens team?

It's been a decent pipe line. There will have been a Koch on the roster every year from 06/07 through 17/18. 2 of the 3 are top 10 players in UNI history. The jury is still out on Bennett but he has a higher ceiling that Jake and Adam did. It's if he can get to it

Carlson should be in the same class as Koch and Friedman.
