Obviously the Shox will be picked first but who is 2nd? I say Illinois State but UNI will get votes too.

WSU.

In a surprise reversal, everyone BUT Muller votes ISUr first this year.

Are we going with how we think the voters will vote, or our own predictions?

WSU
ISUr
UNI
UE
LU-C
DU
ISUb
MSU
BU
SIU

I think, IF Mock stays, the gap between ISUr and UNI will be greater than the gap between UNI and UE.

Question for UNI fans....any chance Buss returns? Can't he get a medical year, or is that wrong?

There's some real wrecks at the bottom though....SIU, BU and MSU could lose a TON of games this next season.

He has an okay case to get a 6th year - about 10000000x better than Gibbs had - but chances he'd get it are slim and I'm not sure he wants too.

He's getting married this summer and from the UNI All Access show had some pretty serious job potential at a place in town in the golf industry (basically his dream).

There's also the fact UNI doesn't have a scholy open for next year either....though maybe Jake could pay for it out of pocket like some other coaches do. It'd only be about 8K for tuition.

On that same note, IF Buss came back I would feel a WHOLE lot better about next year, which I already feel pretty good about

Buss isn't coming back. He's already decided against even applying. He and Jake had a pretty rocky relationship in the beginning, it got better over time, but Nate is ready to move on.

UNI is going to be a whole lot better than people think next year.

The schedule, however, is the best that Jake has ever played and that's saying something...

Top 25 good? Top 40 good? What are your thoughts?
