I think the biggest question coming into the 2015-16 season is "How much improvement will Illinois State bring?" I suspect a slow start as the team sorts through leadership roles that will build to a crescendo at season's end. All of our alma maters/teams, especially the top half, must take care of the non-conference schedule to ensure at least 3 Valley teams are dancing.
Go Valley!
Go Shocks!!

I don't know. Now UNI and ISUr both have a lot of good wings and guards returning and now returning low post threat. Seems fairly even except for advantage UNI on the coaching and experience front.
Interesting thought: Could Jacobson coach any of the currently assembled UNI/ISUr/UE teams to 2nd place next year?

I don't think the guys at ISUr are mentally disciplined enough to run a Jake system.
I think Evansville he could for sure, but that's assuming DJ is okay with scoring 10-15 PPG, cutting his shots by about 60% and allowing others to play offense as well. I also don't think they are good enough defensively to run Jake's system next year

No doubt. ISU with one of 2 returning legit 5s. No question UNI's experience, coaching and cohesion make then now the solid #2.

Evansville will have the 2nd best roster in the conference and finish 5th.
Next year's records will be like 2013-2014 with UNI coming in 2nd.

With our addition of Quintin Brewer I think he can replace Reggie well enough where we will finish 2nd. Seems to be a pretty good rebounder, can block some shots, and has a nice shot/post moves as well. I really like our roster just need someone to step up and fill in for Daishon's scoring. I think a couple guys will up their scoring some in order to replace that scoring output. I guess we'll see in about 5 or 6 months!
