Just for comparison purposes, here's the link and ranking for Kansas State, coached by former SIU coach Bruce Weber - he did better at SIU than he's doing at KSU

If K-State continues down the path they're on, Weber's gone. If Barry doesn't get things turned around at SIU soon, SIU might be the only place that'd take Weber. And if he got the Salukis back to where they were when he coached there, I don't think anyone would complain one bit.

"At 9-9, Evansville finished in the middle of the pack in the Missouri Valley Conference. But the team was much better than just a middle of the road squad."

Yup. Because of poor coaching.

"Duane Gibson, Adam Wing, Blake Simmons and Egidijus Mockevicius figure to join Balentine in the starting lineup. "

Yuuuup. Don't expect a lineup change.

"It is a long way to go from 9-9 in the MVC to the NCAA Tournament though and a trip to the NIT is the more likely result. "

Unfortunately I believe a NIT would be enough to allow Marty to build another team for 3-4 more years.

"Three-Point Field Goals Per Game: 4.3 (330rd in the nation, 9th in MVC) "

Yeah that is what makes us easy to guard. Let's work on that.
