The Bradley-Boise matchup happened for a couple reasons: this was to have been the year Geno was building towards, and also, Bradley was the odd team out during the last year in the previous series.

When the matchup was announced, no one knew Bradley's recruiting class last year would be as big a dud as it was, or that only 1 of those players would still be here playing alongside 10 spring signing frosh.

Damn, that loss to Colorado State now looks worse and worse. Should have had that with how we've played against much better teams. Would have brought a split in the challenge.
