The Bradley player for this poll should probably be Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye, or DLO as he is being called. He will be the do it all guy for Bradley vs. Okafor being just the Point guard. DLO is the kid from London with lots of international experience. He had 12 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in their exhibition win on Wednesday.

Bradley should have the entire All-Freshman team this year.

From what I'm hearing, both Dominik Olejniczak and Billy Wampler will get plenty of playing time this season. Nick McGlynn has impressed/surprised the coaches enough that he's also likely to see a fair amount of playing time....originally, the coaching staff had planned to redshirt him. Now, they will likely redshirt another freshman forward, Johannes Dolven. Redshirt freshman Casey Schlatter should also see a fair amount of playing time.

With some of these MVC rosters, we could almost go back to the days when freshman weren't allowed to play varsity basketball.

I still don't think Shamet will win FoY due to lack of PT and stats this year. But the more I see him, the more I'm convinced he must be the best freshman in the league, and will be a 1st Team All-Valley player in the not-too-distant future. He has 'it'. You can see 'it' in everything he does.

As long as Marshall sticks around, this train will keep rolling.

We've been hearing very good things about Shamet from those in the know. I rewatched the exhibition this morining and he made no mistakes. None in 24 minutes. He has a quick release and good stroke, strong handles and quick step. Defense is good for a freshman. He was aggressive, but really let the game come to him. Stat line: 3-6 from the floor, 1-2 from 3, 3-3 FT, 10 points, 4 boards, 2 assists, 0 TOs. Played shooting guard exclusively, but did take the ball up court against pressure a couple of times.

6-8 McDuffie also really show cased his ball handling, passing ability, and quickness. He will have a hard time getting minutes behind Wessel and Brown.

With the way things are shaping up at MSU, I'll throw Jarret Dixon's name out there. 6'2-6'3 with long arms, looks like he will start the year in the starting lineup. Nothing eye popping about his game, just does a little of everything and is aggressive.

Doubt he wins FOY, considering our own fans can't get his name correct. Jarred Dixon, he is pretty smooth for a 6'2 cg.

Roland Griffin will be good one immediately for ISUr, and he'll see plenty of PT.

It will not be anyone from UNI, Coach Jacobson has announced that all 4 UNI freshman will redshirt. I would guess that if there were an injury McDonnell would possibly get his pulled, but I am excited to think about what these 4 could be as 5th year seniors.
