It is Marian University of Indianapolis. The Knights are coached by Carson Harris an Assistant coach for Marty for 8 seasons. It is part of the Wooden Legacy Tournament. It may help in facing Belmont and the tournament

Forces the Aces to a quick turn@ and they are playing a team who coach has Evansville's play book. Harris left for Indianapolis before the CIT last year. Surely he has educate his team on Marty's motion offense and defenses

Going with DJ under 35 minutes

UNI set to tip against SFA at 7:00 AM.

Coaches name is Carson Harris, not Carson Palmer. It's hell to get old.

Since I'm a glass half full kinda guy I'll focus on some positives. Last year we lost 3-4 games just like this one but hey we won this one! Although he's not putting the ball in the hoop like he's capable of Paris Lee has 14 assists to 2 turnovers and 5 steals in 2 games. David Ndiaye gave the team a huge boost with a putback and a couple of blocks which was encouraging. Deontae played a real good game and obviously DAP gave us the game winner and other key baskets.

For my negatives tho, Our rebounding and free throw shooting has to be much improved and fast. Too many careless turnovers on fast breaks as well. On to the next one

The defense was lacking at times, as well.

Hopefully this was just an early season hiccup. Good teams find a way to win even when they aren't having a strong night.

VanVleet single-handedly went on a 9-0 run to close out the half. Score went from WSU down 30-22 to WSU up 31-30 in the last 1:18 of the half. The first 3 was from close to 30' out with 3 seconds on the shot clock.

All the hot-shot Fr looked like Fr in their first road game. In other words, they sucked.

Baker looks like the only one who came ready to play tonight for the shockers, may will them by himself to victory

Edit: Tulsa is a pretty solid team tho tough road game for the newbies

This was supposed to be the senior year cakewalk for Fred and Ron. Instead getting clocked at TULSA? Ouch.
