Wow. This team is gonna be fun to watch this year but I have a feeling were gonna see a lot of these games. In the end, this was a really good win. Hofstra might be a nice RPI win if they can take care of business the rest of the season in a weak schedule.

Much needed win for the Bulldogs today over Western Kentucky. WKU missed a 3 at the buzzer in OT, and Drake wins 81-79. Drake's last second shot in regulation was 80% of the way down before spinning back out.

Kale Abrahamson with 41 points in a breakout game for him. DU plays winner of Central Michigan-Weber State tomorrow. Former Bulldog coach Keno Davis is CMU's coach. WKU was the team that knocked Keno & Drake out of the NCAA tourney in 2008 with a 3 at the buzzer in OT.

I remember watching that game at work, that was a crazy high scoring game.

Breakout game? 41 points? My goodness, that's crazy! Might be the highest point total anyone puts out this year in the MVC.

It looks like Brown came off the bench. Any word on why?

Probably because of his terrible game last night, he cost us the game with his dreadful FT shooting (6-15, including a few missed front ends of 1 and 1's), and his poor FG%, he literally cost us that game against Tulsa.

Much improved tonight, so maybe coach thought he needed to come off the bench tonight.

Is Abrahamson serving as the focal point of the offense? I was surprised to see he took 23 shots, but then again I've know Kale for quiet some time and all I can say is you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Kale definitely likes to shoot....prior to yesterday he wasn't making shots.k....was 9-29 (3-17 from 3-pt range) in Drake's two losses.

I wouldn't say he's the focal point of the offense, but he, Timmer and Graham Woodward have accounted for most of the scoring so far this season. 21.8 ppg, 17.8 ppg, 13.5 ppg for those 3. Nobody else averaging more than 5.5.

Pretty good half from ILS there, just down 1 at the half

SIU up big on Oakland in the 2nd half there

Drake is the only team struggling, down 10 to Weber State in the 2nd half.
