Is that an accurate statement?

It's OK. They redshirted like 9 guys.

Jeremy Morgan has stepped up big this year and will return. Koch is improving quickly and Carlson is a good PF. Lohaus has been disappointing. I expected more. It's unclear what the depth will provide, but the red-shirts and incoming recruits are very UNIish.

So they have a few decent pieces that look like some of the pieces they have this year, but they also lose their best player and point guard. Not sure what that adds up to.

If I were a UNI fan I would be very concerned about the near future once they lose their Seniors.
Morgan is good and Koch looks like he will follow in his brothers footsteps.... but if they are counting on a lot from Lohaus, Carlson and Freidman they might be in trouble.
Help me out UNI fans because I don't know what is coming down the pipeline... is there cause for concern
Or am I just not seeing the bigger picture here?

If the season ended today, UNI would be the 8 seed. They have played arguably an easier schedule so far than a couple of the teams right in front of them, and have also lost to them head-to-head.

At this point, I think they'll be lucky to avoid Thursday.

Bump. Color me terrified the Redbirds will fold.

Loyola took ISUr right down to the wire a few weeks ago in BloNo. I see no reason why we can't beat them at home. It'll likely be another close one--seems like all of our games vs the Redbirds are tight ones.

We needed to go 3-0 against Drake, Missouri St. and Loyola before this awful stretch to the finish line.

If we lose tonight, it could spell Thursday for us. A very sad sign for ISUr basketball given the "talent" we supposedly always have.

With a win the Redbirds could possibly be tied for 2nd place after today, or a loss and we will be tied for 6th. Big Logjam after Wichita
