Barry and the Salukis roll into JQH for a 3pm game today. Always Good theater when our former coach comes back to town. Both teams have been down for a number of years now but Lusk has won more of these games than Barry has. This game could be different as SIU is having a good year although it's difficult to tell just how good they are due to the weak schedule. A month ago I would have said this was an easy win for SIU but the Bears have been better than expected in conference games thus far.

Barry has always been treated very well on his returns to Springfield and I don't expect that to change.

A couple of matchups I'm looking forward to are Bola vs Church and Kendrix vs Beane. Bola is a guy we recruited originally. Church has far exceeded all expectations as a freshman post. Beane is just a great individual player but Kendrix can play some defense and is very athletic.

The bears improved play is a credit to Lusk...I'll take them to win at home.

Also looking forward to the all Indiana rematch. I anticipate a nip and tuck game.

Interesting that both games have the same halftime score. Sorry.

Hard to believe that Beane has been completely ineffective these last few valley games and the Salukis keep on rolling.

Salukis put 5 in double figures. None of them named Anthony Beane. SIU Wins 80-65.

Sycamores rode the 3 point barrage today and beat Evansville 82-65, so nearly the same score as the SIU-MSU game, after both scores were the same at the half.
