Not at this time. I will be shocked if it's not a "Power 5" school.

It was quoted in the Evansville Courier & Press. "I am Evansville's Basketball Coach." He ain't going anywhere. Sorry, thought you were talking about Marty.

With Roundtree's now official transfer, that frees the scholy anticipated to be taken by juco guard Ronnie Rousseau when April signing date comes. Rousseau who averaged 23ppg at State Fair this year and was the # 1 rated player in the Cincy metro area as a senior in HS. With Ruder also in the fold the backcourt looks talented and deep, with returners Miller[ NOY] Dixon[ All Frosh] Ruder, Kreklow, and additions Rousseau, Williams[ 6'5, 3*** pg] and wo Ross Owens 6'4.

I think you guys surprise the league this year and finish top 3.....IF Lusk doesn't get in his own way. Seems like a good recruiter, questionable coach.

That's the whole ball of wax. We should be in the top 3 and contending , but who knows with Lusk. Our talent always ends up looking less than what it should because of poor coaching and systems under Lusk. The question is can he grow and evolve and become a decent Head Coach or is he what he appears, a great assistant in over his head as the top guy. I've known HC like him who have succeeded by being great recruiters and leaving the x and o's to assistants. But you have to first hire the right assistants and then get past your own ego to allow them to have great input. Not sure he can do that, but last year it appeared our two new assistants were more involved and contributed to some of the success of our young guys. We'll see. Fear is that with talent and the league so-so we will enter a Hinson-like purgatory of being a solid upper division but not really top level team for an extended period of mediocrity. Better than what we've had the last 5 years, but still not very palatable.

Miller and Dixon are good starters. Kreklow and Ruder are good reserves. Two good JC transfers really increase the potential to be good if they can earn minutes over the good, not great rotation currently in place.

Kendrix and Church are the real prizes at SF and post forward. Their continued development, and competent front court supporting cast, is the difference between a Thursday night team and a 20 win program. I know someone mentioned that there were a few new bigs coming in, but is it possible that Lusk runs a four guard line-up with Church?

This is if Church decides not to transfer.

Why would you think Church is leaving?
