MVC non conference '16-'17 schedules being released

Sycamores release their full non conference slate today, not the best in the MVC, but it won't be the worst either. Key will obviously be to win some games we won't be predicted to win.

For those questioning the home and home with Northern Illinois, it's becoming more and more common for "mid major" teams to schedule home and homes with similar level teams anymore.

That's a decent schedule. Some solid teams that give the opportunity to boost wins without killing RPI, and should ISU be better than expected, they have some real meat in Florida.

How come South Dakota State is 37 for one team but 29 for other? What RPI sources are we using?

This is okay. Probably one too many schools over 270.

here is the official NCAA final RPI for 2016, south dakota state's final RPI was 39

Nothing from SIU yet, but you can bet it will likely once again be a very, very weak non-conference schedule. Sorry in advance to the rest of the MVC.
