Each week we will open a poll for users to predict the end of season finish for the MVC 2016-17 basketball season. We will work in reverse order, concluding with the predicted MVC champion chosen by our users between the last two teams remaining in week 9.

He retweeted the original announcement on Simmons injury on Sept. 7. Must have written the story prior to the Simmons injury and not gone back to edit. Can't beat him up too bad, he's a church pastor.

Voted ISUr here for two reasons:

1. I feel morally obligated to at this point.
2. I know it won't matter because this vote won't be close.

I actually think ISUr is the least likely of UNI/WSU/ISUr to finish 4th. But I understand your undying hatred for a team. Good on ya.

McIntosh, Hawkins and Lee won't let us finish below 3rd.

I think they will be very disappointed if it's not 1st.

I agree. I think ISUr has the most proven top-end talent returning this year and as such is less likely to finish as low as 4th. I don't think it will happen, but I actually think WSU may be the most likely of the 3 to finish 4th. There appears to be a very high ceiling with a lot of the roster, but how that all comes together in a few months will be interesting.

If I were you I would probably go ahead and tell your boys to prepare themselves to be disappointed. No doubt the Redbirds should be Top 3, but I just don't see a 1st place finish in the Redbirds future.

I couldn't vote MSU. I understand why most everyone else did though. If Lusk and company can do their job competently I think we'll finish top 2. If not 4th or 5th is about right iMO.
