Actually the Valley is 5-6 in D-1 games that impact RPI.
Furthermore the wins have been against Alabama A&M, Alcorn State, Jacksonsville State, South Carolina State and Long Beach State. Not too many resume builders there.
No "quality losses" to speak of either. Losses are to South Dakota, Murray State, Northern Illinois, Wright State, Delaware and Louisville. Louisville could have been a "quality loss" but not so much when you lose by 31. Still that may not hurt as bad as the other losses which aren't necessarily terrible losses but those are the kind of teams the Valley needs to beat in the non-con.
Hopefully, this will turn around relatively quickly.
