I think Mark Adams was right, Shamet and Johnson are the 2 best players in the league

Agreed. Shamet likely won't get POY either since he's a Frosh.
Being a Frosh shouldn't matter but being on a 7-11 team shouldn't either.

Thanks. I love watching him play. A smart coach would have us running the offense through him. He has point forward type abilities. As it is there were a number of games this year where he barely touched the ball on offense and only got points on put backs.

Shamet was incredible today. Hard to believe he's a freshman. He looks like different player than early in the year.

It is reasonable that a team's ability to win games has some bearing on post-season award voting. Using stats in a vacuum is dangerous. Winning games is the goal of the sport. (see: UE scoring title winners on terrible teams).

It is not reasonable to use a person's age for post-season award voting. It has literally zero bearing on anything.
