1 Landry Shamet Wichita St. 6-4 188 Fr 136.1 (17.9)
2 Conner Frankamp Wichita St. 6-1 172 Jr 135.9 (15.4)
3 Markis McDuffie Wichita St. 6-8 212 So 124.4 (21.7)
4 Donte Ingram Loyola Chicago 6-6 215 Jr 123.4 (19.3)
5 Phil Fayne Illinois St. 6-9 200 So 119.9 (19.4)

7 Ore Arogundade Drake 6-3 185 Jr 113.0 (19.8)
8 Reed Timmer Drake 6-1 185 Jr 112.7 (24.4)
9 Jordan Ashton Northern Iowa 6-4 192 Sr 112.1 (12.9)
10 Keyshawn Evans Illinois St. 6-0 180 So 112.1 (18.4)

I don't know if Frankamp will make 2nd team, but credit to him, he has been a totally different player in the last month since they played ISU. Against ISU, he played pretty sub-par, but it seems that whatever Marshall is doing with that kid, he has responded. I don't see every WSU game, but from the outsiders perspective, he looks like he is much more aggressive with trying to get his own shot. He may not make 2nd team, but he deserves a mention for sure.

Agreed, when confident, he's deadly. Some of the shots he made against Loyola were ridiculous.

There was this one:

and this one
https://twitter.com/Shox_KCfan/status/8 ... 4829020162

Then there was one earlier, where he stepped around a screen, had three defenders on him and just popped a 3 in their face.

EDIT: Found it! https://twitter.com/Shox_KCfan/status/8 ... 4225803265

He's definitely a confidence player. When he's on, he's on. He's also become one of our best defenders, which is something I've never thought I would see.

They moved him to off-guard. He still initiates the offense sometimes, but the difference has been night and day for Frankamp, and Shamet hasn't seen any efficiency dip moving to PG.

Shamet is 6th in the league in FG%. As a PG with a decent usage percentage. That's silly.

Fricking love the way he shuns the screen and sends Willis to the block. Reminds me of Van Vleet breaking the ankles of the UNI guy a couple years ago.

Why does McIntosh make it automatically. He's not even played 1/2 of the MVC schedule and needs to show he can come back from his injury before anything is handed to him.

I'd switch him out and put Hawkins in his place.

I'd put Shamet on the 1st team replacing about anybody. Morgan looks like the most likely to drop to 2nd team. Maybe Johnson if MSU doesn't improve its results in Valley play.

If I'm picking one Shocker to make 1st team, it's Shamet.

Here is an important statistic to ponder for anti-WSU fans and for WSU fans too. Conner is shooting over 62% from 3 point land for the past nine games. Now that is total domination for a significant period of time. 44% for the year. We'll have to see how the last 3 games go.
