Kevin Sweeney likes Illinois State's chances. He's a big fan of the Evans\Yarbrough\Fayne trio.

Valpo commit Daniel Sackey getting some publicity as a Canadian Freshman you need to know. We Valpo fans are very excited to see him in action.

Who wouldn't be a fan of that trio? Looking back at it, in the moment, I did not realize realize the impact ALL three made practically every game. The Birds will run and stall based off the production of those three. However, this season the team has more guys capable of scoring in the 7-12 range. I'd be surprised if Fayne/Evans (mostly Evans) production goes up. They just wont HAVE to do as much. Also, keep an eye on Milik being a bit of a different player than last season. He has slimmed down a bit this off-season, clearly due to NBA scouts projecting him as a 2/3 guy in the league. I expect him to take more outside shots than those shots he took from the paint. Hopefully, his game doesn't change too much. If it ain't broke...

Definitely looking forward to that game when they come to Valpo. I expect them to be very good.

Actually this was expected for a long time. The first school he went to in the US closed. No records. Give him a year to put at least 15 pounds on that 6'9" 200 pound frame

He was getting pushed around on God inside because he's so small so he would only be playing guard/forward. Not much time left after evans, Copeland, Tinsley, Yarbrough, jefferson, Bruniga, and Chastain get theirs. They'll be okay. Fayne and Idowu can handle inside with Bruniga getting some in there too and Tinsley has a knack for blocked shots.

Good to hear. This gives him a year to bulk up and see if he can handle things better inside this year. The extra training as a guard may also help him develop a more diverse skillset.
