Official 2018-19 MVCfans.com Prediction - 5th Place

With media day looming, and several of the voting results very obvious, we have decided to move on more quickly than anticipated.

Each week we will open a poll for users to predict the end of season finish for the MVC 2018-19 basketball season. We will work in reverse order, concluding with the predicted MVC champion chosen by our users between the last two teams remaining in week 9.

UNI was recently selected as the likely 6th place finisher (results: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5088 )

Might as well move on to 4th place

I think 5th or 6th is an appropriate target projection for Valpo. If everything really breaks VU's way, maybe slightly higher. 2019-20 is the season where Valpo could really make some noise.

I think we're overvaluing Valpo a bit by a couple spots but it'll all work itself out when we actually play games.

I think they'll struggle to stay out of Thursday this year and then totally agree that 19-20 is when they take a step towards the top half. That 19-20 season is going to be fascinating with Valpo and UNI looking to take a big, big step forward and SIU being gutted with graduation, Loyola losing Custer and Townes and Illinois State losing Fayne and Evans.

This league is going to be so much fun for the next 5 years.

Valpo could be anywhere from 4th to 8th. Same with UNI, MSU, INSb, Bradley.

Seems to be obvious this year! Wait, it seems obvious every year but always ends up screwy somehow. That's why we love sports!

We ought to do our individual 1st to last and then average them together or not. See who's right at the end of the year.
