Good season Drake. It was fun battling with you guys for the conference championship and you brought your A game at Arch Madness.

You called it. Miami regressed to their mean and beat the brakes off Indiana.

Headed to S16 just up the road. Trying to figure out if I can get up there.

Especially when it was unraveling late. They needed his poise and leadership. Stunned they didn’t put him back in.

Not sure if you listen to March to the Arch, but Kevin Lehman unmasked the backstory to this, which I hadn’t heard before:

Several Drake players got food poisoning the day before the game. Penn, Tucker, & Sturtz needed IVs. This is why Sturtz barely played.

It’s incredible that Drake still led that game for 36 of 40 minutes. Of course, Miami went on to the Final Four. If Drake doesn’t get food poisoning, they win that game and go who knows how far.

Also, it bears repeating again: Sardaar Calhoun was absolutely ridiculous that game.

I thought this was common knowledge. Apparently just among Drake fans. di you notice Devries couldn't hit the rim? Sturtz could barely function. I guess you need to bring your own food the the tournament.
