Incredible upsets in the early sessions already. Furman over Virginia and Princeton knocks out Arizona.

Let the madness begin.

Too bad Oral Roberts laid an egg in the first half (no points until 11+ left). Very capable of making a run as shown 2 years ago, sometimes the pressure cooker throws teams out of sync.

Oral Bob can leave their basketball at home as far as I am concerned. Too bad.

Oral Roberts got the worst possible draw. Duke is on fire and might be ticketed for a Final Four. Glad Drake didn't get them.

Houston is in some deep injury trouble and only survived NKU because the Norse shot 4/37 from 3. If Drake can play over their heads this weekend, that region can break wide open.

And now they have to play what is essentially a road game against Auburn.

FDU doesn't even win their league tourney, but gets into the NCAA tournament through the backdoor and then wins in the First Four and follows that with an upset of 1 seed Purdue.

That is March Madness.

Fairleigh Dickinson went 4-22 last year, lost this season to the dead-last team in D1 (Hartford), and only made the NCAA Tournament on a technicality (NEC Tournament winner Merrimack was ineligible).

Greatest upset in sports history.

Since Paul Lusk returned to Purdue last year, they've lost to (15) Saint Peter's and (16) Fairleigh Dickinson. Hope he didn't have the scout for those 2 games.

Congrats to the Hurricanes. They should be proud of what they accomplished. That said, as a Drake fan their run makes me absolutely sick. I hope the coaches and players coming back next year to Drake feel the same way and are able to use this feeling as motivation for an even better year next year.

I was thinking the same thing.

Drake could easily be where they are.
