Yeah that's a Geno Ford type home loss. Not acceptable in the MVC.

Bradley beats Utah State 72-66 in OT. Thought they'd be 1-1 against solid opening opponents, but they're 2-0, both games posing cardiac challenges among fans. BU will hit some bumps along the way trying to figure things out, but so far not bad.

You are right. That loss is embarrassing wholly unacceptable and has me very concerned (Valpo was also pushed during their exhibition game as well). As for Bradley, that's about as good a start against as strong a slate of opponents an MVC team can hope for in this day and age. The UAB team they beat opening night just beat Maryland I believe on a neutral floor. I think the conference has done really well so far (Valpo excluded). Keep it up!

UAB was playing in a tournament in Asheville, NC, so neutral floor this weekend. They lost to Clemson 77 to 76 as Clemson hit 2 free throws with 3.4 seconds left to get the win. They then beat Maryland in the game today which really helps Bradley and therefore the Valley's rankings.

Loyola lost to the kenpom ranked #327 Coppin State at home in 2021 and ended up with over 20 wins that season. Highly embarrassing but losses like this happen early on.

Glad to see you stop by occasionally, Blers. I know Loyola had a bit of a disappointing year last year but, what's the expectation this year? Anyways, best of luck to you guys, except against the MVC. ;)
