Bradley Getting Some Love

Andy Katz now has Bradley as his #36 team in the country. Jeff Goodman tweeted, "Bradley is now 6-0 with wins over UAB, Utah State, Tarleton State, Tulane, UTEP and Vermont. Brian Wardle has done a terrific job even after losing a few key pieces." BU getting a vote in the AP top 25 poll and 4 votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll. A poster on a BU message board notes, "T3 Bracketology is a Twitter blogging site that projects the NCAA Bracket. They have Bradley as an 8 seed, and ranked the 32nd best team in the 2024 NCAA Tournament." And the latest "Field of 68 Cinderella Top 25" poll has Bradley at #3 (and Drake at #5). Take it all with a grain of salt, to be sure.

But this is the first time in a LONG time Bradley has generated this kind of chatter. Of course, that could all end Wednesday night. But it's fun while it lasts.

And the lone AP voter who voted for Bradley? None other than former Indiana St. beat writer, Todd Golden.

If Bradley keeps rolling, they have a solid December schedule. What is interesting is there's not a single P6 team on the schedule this year. Mostly a bunch of solid mid-majors. No telling how the committee will take that into consideration if they are in at-large contention.

@Murray St - KenPom 170
Indiana St - 96
@Akron - 121
Cleveland St - 155
Duquesne ("neutral site" at Lebron's former HS) - 81
SIUE - 233
Truman State - D2

Bradley was in a 4 team tournament with a P5 team but Cal had to lose to UTEP.
