At Hoops in the Heartland tonight, they interviewed MSU President Clif Smart at halftime. Regarding the new coach, he made a comment to the effect of not to believe everything you read from the writer at the News-Leader.

Wyatt’s attendance series must’ve really got under his skin, because that shot at him was so random. lol

I wanted to see the actual attendance numbers this season. Stadium capacity taken from Wikipedia and attendance numbers taken from the NCAA.

Pretty much the expected ones at the bottom. Murray State having that kind of pull while not being a large city is impressive. And Missouri State has too nice of facilities to have this poor of attendance, its a shame.

BU actually stands at about 56.5%. The capacity listed is “old setup” which is still possible. We haven’t had bleachers in the home end zone for a while and we just put up the side bleachers on the away side starting last year. Capacity is usually about 10,400 expandable to the 11k + figure.

UNI also reduced capacity due to some new suites. New capacity is 6497 pushing us to 57.1 capacity this year.

That said, we have to do better and I'm hoping a new administration is going to help with that.
