Valpo’s gym looks like a high school gym. When you compare to new adds like UIC, it’s embarrassing.
Funnily enough it was never intended to stay that way. The gym was designed to be expanded over time, but those expansions never were done. The gym also has to maintain its identity as the "Student Rec Center" so that limits its upgrades significantly.
Hopefully we get some renderings for the new arena that is to be built but with the occurrence that warranted this thread. We might not get those any time soon
