Posted: August 5th, 2012, 12:00 pmHe is a 6'1 PG right now. Pretty good shooter, plays on what is probably the best team in the state of Iowa. His dad is like 6'11 and played in the NBA, so hopefully he shoots up a couple inches these last couple years of HS, as he is only a Junior this year. Good early commitment and good to get the good in-state players. He will fit in well, especially coming in with his teammate Jeremy Morgan.

Lohaus, a 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 11.7 points and hit 45 percent of his 3-point attempts for Iowa City West last year. He was second in the team in steals (53) and third in assists (67). Lohaus helped lead Iowa City West to the Class 4A state championship and a 26-0 record. Lohaus also had offers from Rice, South Dakota State, San Francisco and Northern Colorado.
He’ll join current West teammate and incoming senior Jeremy Morgan, who also committed to UNI this summer. They also are teammates with the AAU Iowa Barnstormers.

Posted: March 18th, 2014, 9:48 amWyatt was named Iowa's Mr. Basketball today. He finished the season averaging 20 ppg and 5 rpg while shooting 57%. Lohaus led Iowa City West to its 3rd straight state championship this year and had a career record of 94-9.
Really excited to see what the states top recruit and basketball player can do at the next level for the Panthers.
