Corey Henderson Jr is a sharp shooting PG from the Dallas Fort-Worth area and is listed as a Rivals 3 star. No other recruiting services have him listed. He was offered by St. Louis, Texas Tech, Fresno State among others.

Corey is the third verbal commitment that the Shockers have received from the 2014 class. He is joined by 6-7 wing Zack Brown and 6-8 forward Rashard Kelly.

Some services have Henderson listed as SG. According to reports from his father, he played point last year as a Jr. and will be playing PG this year.

Throw in that 6'7" recruit Zach Brown is playing PG for his prep school (which is filled with D1 commits) this year and the Shox are shoring up the hole at PG left when D.J. Bowles (top 150 PG by some services) went down with a heart problem and didn't get medical clearance to continue playing basketball.
