Macari Brooks....juco guard originally from Chicago. I don't know anything else about him

Originally committed to DePaul... Had an offer from Marquette as well. His scoring average is fourth in juco. Seems like a Walt Lemon type, athletic, gets to the rim. Not sure how his shooting is

Macari Brooks is a 6-3 SG at Blinn College in Texas. He averaged 15 ppg and 4 rpg last year.

He is averaging 25 ppg and 6.5 rpg this season. Shoots it ok, not great. Very athletic. Good scorer obviously.

Played AAU ball for current Bradley assistant Chin Coleman for the Mac Irvin Fire. Also close with current BU player and Illinois transfer Mike Shaw. According to Rivals had offers from DePaul (committed), Fairfield, Marquette and Providence out of high school.

Here is an update from Dave Reynolds regarding Macari Brooks.

Bradley recruit Macari Brooks, the Blinn College (Texas) guard who says he wants to come to Bradley, continues to have a fine season.

The 6-foot-3 Brooks is averaging 22.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists and is shooting 61 percent from the field for 11-3 Blinn, which is averaging 97.8 points per game as a team.

Brooks, who starred at Richton Park Rich South in high school and originally committed to DePaul, visited Bradley last month. But there are academic/transcript issues to work through as BU considers his enrollment.
