Not sure why else these Euro big men keep flocking to Evansville, Indiana to be career screen-setters.
A UNI fan implying that Evansville shoots a ton of threes?
UNI was second in the league at 3 point attempts (732) last year and Evansville was last (398).
The implication was not that Evansville would be shooting an ungodly amount of the 3's. The implication is that Marty once again has a talented (maybe, apparently no one has ever heard of this guy) big man who isn't likely to be involved in the offense, based on the recent trends we've seen from the "Marty-ball" Era.
If you're going to try and tell me that Egidijus isn't underused and that the offensive scheme isn't 70% setting screens for Ballentine then I'm not sure we watched the same Evansville team last year. That's pretty much all that I, and just about 99% of all other Valley fans saw when the Aces stepped on the court.
So my point remains...if you aren't the next DJ Ballentine/Colt Ryan jump-shooting dynamo for Marty's offense what could possibly draw you to become a contributor for the Aces? Based on the number of transfers/quitters the past few seasons there is one possibility that I am leaning towards.
