Gregg Marshall has put offers on the table to 14 top 100 players from the class of 2015. The most notable are listed below:

Alonzo Trier, 6-3, Rivals #12
Dwayne Bacon, 6-6, Rivals #22
PJ Dozier, 6-6, Rivals #40

Thus far there are also six offers out to top 60 players in the class of 2016 (Seventh Woods is Rivals #12) and two to top 25 players in the class of 2017 (Per Future150 Mitchell Ballock is a Kansan and #22, Michael Porter is from Mizzu and #3).

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Do you expect to land any of these kids? I know that sounds condescending, just wondering if any of them will be in Wichita next fall.

I fully expect 1 top 100ish wing in Wichita next fall. The chance's of landing a top 50ish recruit is 50/50 in my book. I do not expect to land a consensus AA or to load up on top 100s, nor do I expect any top 100 bigs, but a top 150 is in scope.

Shake Milton is Rivals #63 SG. We've been in on him for a couple of years and he's out of Oklahoma. He's been to campus at least once.

We were very high on PJ Dozier's list (Rivals #40) when we offered in the spring of 2013. We are currently in his top 7.

Corey Sanders has us in his top 7. He's ranked # 66. Check his vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5fm1n40oN0 If we sign him, WSU will really be hated!

We are HEAVILY recruiting Dwayne Bacon (Rivals #22) and Donte Fitzpatrick (Rivals #126 and climbing). They have huge lists that they haven't trimmed and it's hard to know where we stand, but with the heavy attention, I'm going to assume they're listening.

Danjel Purifoy (Rivals #80) lists WSU in this top 3. We've been recruiting him for some time now.

Dean Wade is a 6-9 stretch 4 from a tiny Kansas town. WSU was the first to offer. He was ranked around #250 going into the summer. After the Las Vegas tourney, he picked up a dozen offers, and Scout said he will be very close to #100 on their updated rankings.

There are many, many others that either have limited information on their interest, or are ranked in the 150-250 range. The ones above are those that are confirmed to be mutually interested in the Shockers.

Quite an impressive list! Shocks keep pulling the league up. Certain schools will never really recruit top tier kids because of the amount of money it takes to follow them the way the big boys do. WSU has done that, MSU is trying with Morgan and Bradley landed Cunningham this spring. Hate the shocks Gerring better but love the league having high profile guys, much more exciting than the grab and clinch played by the Lithuanian national team or Hand Check University.

Shake Milton listed his top four and WSU didn't make the grade.

PJ Dozier is taking his five official visits to schools other than WSU.

As kids and schools are starting to cut their list, several players above have parted ways with WSU while others remain interested. The five players listed below are all planning to take an official visit to WSU and are top 100-200 players:

Dean Wade, 6-9, 215 forward. He is a three star player from Kansas, but is not listed in any top 150 rankings. Scout and Rivals have both stated that he will be in the top 150 or 100 when their new lists come out.

Marquis Pointer, 6-1, 200 PG. He is a three star via ESPN. No one else is giving him much run.

Kerwin Roach Jr, 6-4, 165 SG. Rivals said he will be a top 150 on their updated rankings this summer. 247Sports ranks him #67.

Markus McDuffie, 6-8, 175 wing. He is rated by most everyone has a top 150.

Landry Shamet, 6-4, 180 SG. Rated by most as a three star recruit. 247Sports has him ranked 127.

Also of note:

Committed forward Eric Hamilton, and scheduled visitors; Barry Brown, Marquis Pointer, and Dazon Ingram, are all listed as 3* currently. 3* players Markus McDuffie and Jarvis Johnson have not decided if they will visit WSU yet, but Wichita was in their final 7.
