I really like what Gia is doing in Des Moines. They are not going to be good this year, and they are not going to compete with the top of the league next. That said, this years freshman class reminds me of the freshman class Turgeon brought in about 12 years ago...Burns, Howard, Kampman, Miller, and a couple other talented guys that transferred early. I think Drake will be good when these guys are upperclassman, and it looks like Gia is only going to increase the talent behind them.

This is a real good recruit. Drake's 2014 class is excellent and it looks like 2015 will be the same.

Wampler looks to be an immediate impact player. Really athletic in addition to being a good shooter. Great pickup by Giac.

I think you might be surprised at what the Dogs will do in 2015/16.

I agree that the target year for the Bulldogs 2 years away, and I think they will do well, but Ballentine and Mock will be seniors at Evansville , and WSU will have Baker and VanVleet as seniors. Bradley will also target 15/16 as will MSU and SIU. The completion in the MVC should be ferocious.

So far, I am a fan of the new coach at Drake. Hope he can build you guys a winner. Things are looking up.
