Haha....you make me laugh. If Matrix was here, he'd laugh too.

It's more likely that my commemorative Final Four ring is both rosier and worth more than your entire program. That seems pretty rosey to me.

Shamet is a stud and every Valley program would kill to have him. If he came TODAY to ANY Valley team not named Wichita State he'd start tonight.

I know you and the rest of the Valley are waiting with bated breath for the collapse of WSU, and yes someday they'll be down again, but sadly it won't be due to anything another Valley program accomplishes. We control our own destiny.

Good luck making payroll next month.

WSU's graduates and players likely leaving:
Darius Carter - 6'7" PF, Tekele Cotton - 6'2" wing, Ron Baker - 6'3" SG.

WSU's previous commitments for 2015:
Eric Hamilton - 6'9" SF/PF, Landry Shamet - 6'4"

WSU's current Fr class includes:
Zach Brown - 6'6" SF
Rashard Kelly - 6'7" SF/PF
Shaquille Morris - 6'7" PF

Take a look at what WSU needs (a guard) and where WSU is really deep for the next 4 years (SF/PF). Wade projects as SF/PF.

The Shox would have gladly taken Wade if he wanted to come, but it's not a great fit for him or for the Shox. He's much more likely to get significant PT at KSU. The Shox have offers out to a handful of pretty salty guards, including a top-50 recruit who has WSU in the final 4 schools he's considering. If Wade had come to WSU, we would have lost the opportunity to continue recruiting those guards.

Wade had an offer from WSU, and we would have been delighted if he had come, but signing another guard is a higher priority.

Obviously Shamet is a very highly rated player and seems to be a good get for WSU.

But this statement is a bit over the top. He wouldn't start for every other MVC team right now. Come on.
