BRADLEY:
High School/Prep: Jayson Kent 6'6, Darius Hannah 6'9, Connor Linke 6'9
Juco:
Grad Transfer:
Transfer : Sean East 6'3 so, Trans UMASS [9ppg/4.9 assists as fr]
RS: Kevin McAdoo 6'2 jr Trans E. Mich[ 8.6 ppg] Terry Nolan 6'4 Trans from George Washington [ 10.6 ppg/4.6 rbs] Rienk Mast 6'9 fr/inj

Gotta really like the diversity of this class for Bradley in it's timeliness and meeting needs. If East is eligible, it probably puts them up at level with UNI/Loyola. Even w/o East it fills needs nicely with a young big frontline in Mast/Hannah/Linke to provide depth to an established frontcourt, and then some experience in the back court in Nolan and McAdoo to replace Brown and Kennel. And Kent looks to add some wing offense in time as well. I won't say it's the best class talent wise, but maybe fits the needs of a team the best right now especially if East suits up.

INDIANA ST.
High School/Prep: Julian Larry 6'2 , Nick Hittle 6'10
Juco: Kalex Stephens 6'7 [ #85 juco] Ndongo Ndaw 6'8
Grad Trans: Randy Miller 6'2, Trans NCC [ 14.3 ppg 38.7%] TJ Howard 6'1 Trans Towson [ 10 ppg in 2018-19, inj]
Trans:
RS:

Like Bradley, Indiana State did an excellent job filling needs on an already solid team with this class. Miller should help Key with scoring, Howard replaces Barnes at pg , and the pair of jucos add depth and versatility to a young and solid frontcourt. Hittle likewise gives them some size on the frontline and Larry is an athletic pg with good size. This is the most complete Indiana State team I think Lansing has had if the newcomers play to their potential/past performance.

ILLINOIS ST.
High School/Prep: Alston Andrews 6'9, Howard Fleming 6'5, Emon Washington 6'5, Jayden Johnson 6'6 [walk on]
Juco : Alex Kotov 6'10 ,so [ #77 juco] , Dusan Maholcic 6'10, Josiah Strong 6'2 [ HM AA]
Grad Transfer :
Transfer: Sly Chatman 6'8 ,so, Trans UMASS
RS:

When added to last years excellent freshmen and Keith Fisher, this gives Illinois State the look of a roster that could compete at a high level. But then you have to take into account the last 3 years, where talent wasn't probably the issue. With the pair of 6'10 jucos and Alston added, the Redbirds have plenty of size in the frontcourt now, and that's w/o Chatman whose status is unclear. Fleming and Strong will complement Horne nicely in the backcourt and Washington gives them another wing to go with Reeves and Boyd. Even if Muller finds his touch back, the roster is probably a year away from making a real push, but it has the look of some of his past better teams in length, quickness etc.

MISSOURI ST.
High School/Prep: Skylar Wicks 6'6, Melvyn Ebonkoli 6'7, Raphe Ayres 6'6, Elijah Bridgers 6'2 [walk on]
Juco: Nic Tata 6'10 [ # 63 juco, 74% fg] Keaton Hervey 6'7 [ # 40 juco, 15.7 ppg, 47% fg, 43% 3pt, 75% ft],
DeMarcus Sharp 6'4 [ 1st team Juco AA, #45 juco, 16ppg, 5.6 assists , DPOY in his region]
Grad Transfer:
Transfer: Dawson Carper 7'0 jr Trans Hawaii [ likely rs] ,Jake Branham 6'2 so, trans D-2 [ walk on / rs ?]
RS: Jared Ridder 6'8 so [ inj]

Like Illinois St the Bears have a lot of new bodies, but have addressed some glaring needs. Wicks and Sharp will improve the pg position by leaps and bounds and along with Hervey, all 3 could be in contention to start. Tata gives the Bears a big strong post player to backup Prim, something they also lacked last year. Ebonkoli and Wicks had P-5 offers, and Ebonkoli and Ayres will have time to develop behind veteran players. And once again we'll see if Ridder can get his health and game back to the level that saw him as Missouri's Mr Basketball as a HS senior and sign with with Xavier.

Issa Samake 6'7" Fr (has a 7'3" wingspan, great athlete)
Okay Djamgouz 6'4 Fr (great shooter, needs to get stronger and quicker)

Although he's not a redshirt, 6'0" soph guard Joseph Yesufu missed virtually the entire conference season.

Thanks; I had wondered about all 3 of them because I knew they hadn't played , but I couldn't find a statement about them redshirting.

Everyone who has seen him LOVES Reink Mast. LOVES him. Nolan will be a major contributor. I see MacAdoo as a 6th/7th man type. If any of the three true freshmen see minutes I would be surprised. I expect one or two of them to redshirt. East will have to sit this year from what I understand.

No problem; just a way to have all the info easily available w/o having to go to multiple sites.

RS: Ben Harvey 6'5, Trans Eastern Illinois [ 10 ppg, 46% fg, 39% 3pt, 75% ft as fr]

SIU used multiple scholys to try to fill the hole in the middle, & each brings a little different package. Mulia is a strong, athletic, but offensively challenged juco ; Duvanzo can shoot the trey but was a role player in D-2, and Filewich probably needs some developing. Both freshman guards are well regarded and should push for time, Harvey is a solid shooter and Verplancken is similar if eligible. Don't see the 6'5 -6'7 athletic wing forwards many Valley teams will have , so that could be an issue . SIU was offensively challenged last year and lost 2 of their better offensive players, but if they get reasonable post play from the rotation, and Harvey and Verplancken can help Domask offensively, then SIU might be able to challenge for an upper half finish, but it'll be tougher this year.

I think you’re using D’Avanzo’s stats from two years ago; he doubled his scoring and rebounding production last year at Lewis:

Verplancken likely will have to sit this year.
Southern also recently added grad transfer Jakolby Long, who previously was at Iowa State and Southern Utah. He is a bigger guard who should add a veteran presence to what is a talented but very young bench.

BEARZ77,
Although a fantastic player whose only going to get better, Domask was not the entire offense last year for SIU. Lance Jones is a rising star as well, and Trent Brown will be vastly improved too.

Future is extremely bright for Saluki hoops! 8-)
