Sardaar Calhoun, a 6'6" wing is transferring from Texas Tech to Drake.

Played two years of juco ball in Missouri, then went to Florida State for a year, where he played about 15 minutes per game on a Sweet 16 team. Transferred to Texas Tech last spring and never really fit into their system.

Good 3 point shooter, pretty athletic. Was the #3 juco in the country two years ago. As a high school/juco player, had offers from Virginia Tech, Seton Hall, Georgia, Alabama, Cincinnati, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, LSU, NC State, Ole Miss,St Johns, Texas A&M, West Virginia and Texas, among others.

Sounds like a high level athlete, but you always get concerned when they pack their bags that often.

Agreed. Certainly a roll of the dice but he's pretty much out of options so that should help in a way.

Weird that he would leave Florida State if he had a decent role on a good team. Wonder what happened there. Also how much eligibility left? I assume this is only for next year right? He certainly has the talent to help the Bulldogs.
