UNI got a commitment from Cedar Falls High School F Cade Courbat (6-8 200).

We THINK he's a walk on and, frankly, he better be. He averaged 11 pts and 5 boards at CFHS plus we've already got a scholarship tied up in his older brother Chase who has given us nothing in his first two years and isn't factored into any plans going forward but it is a big time UNI legacy family so who knows.

Seems a different world when Jake loses guys like Born and Heise. Not sure what to expect from Jake going forward.

Confirmed that he is a walk on. Nice practice body that could earn minutes in a few years.

No idea. I think he'll try the portal thing for a few years and if it doesn't go well, he'll just walk away and turn it over to Seth Tuttle.

He has never had any interest in 'playing the game' and it's sad that that's where we're at now but you adapt or you die.

Or you walk away with dignity from a sport that's lost it's mind.
