Shamet, Frankamp, Smith and Simon were a combined 11-12 from 3. Our assists leaders were Kelly with 6 and Morris with 5. Odd game. Both teams were in the bonus by the 14 min left mark of the second half.

The difference between JR Simon and Jaylon Brown is 32 minutes per game.

Not a great look from Evansville. I thought they pretty much quit right after half time. They quit playing defense and the only buckets they got were after Wichita had turned down the defensive intensity and went into senior night mode...

Be interesting to see if you win by 20+ on the road on Saturday vs the Bears. If so, I may just skip your games until Sunday of Arch with the assumption of each being a blowout.

Aces @ Shockers - Shockers by 26, I feel really good about that one.

Salukis @ Redbirds - Birds by 4, I think that ISU has found this grove with consistently playing close games. I haven't seen anything lately to make me think otherwise.

Panthers @ Sycamores - Panthers by 10, I think they rebound with a nice bounce back win on the road. I have a hard time believing that Morgan and Carlson go a combined 3 for 26 again.

Bears @ Braves - Bears by 4, Missouri State loves to play close games and this one should be as well. I think the Bears just have a bit more than Bradley and get it done.

Bulldogs @ Ramblers - Ramblers by 8, I think that they bounce back over the heartbreaker in Normal on Sunday with a nice win at home.

WSU has now passed ISUr on field goal percentage defense. WSU is #3 and ISUr #5 in the nation.

When you combine that defense with this potent offense, no wonder they're killing everyone. I believe the Shox are better this year than last year as they don't have the deficiencies on offense that exposed them a year ago.
