Not good for our marquee program to lose two in a row. Does this mean they have to get to the championship game of the tournament?

Not even close yet. You realize that UNI is "the first four out" in some brackets. Right now Creighton is probably between a 7 and 10 seed.

Jays need to win 2 of the next 3 (WSU, @SIU, LBSU) in order to stay OUT of the bubble talk IMO. I'm not sure how much this loss will hurt our RPI, it's like 16 now, hopefully it stays under 30.

I disagree. I think Creighton has plenty of room left between themselves and the bubble. Even losses to both WSU and Long Beach wouldn't be killers in my opinion.

Creighton has the Jimmy factor, I mean Dougie factor going for them. Everyone will want to see what all the hype about this mid-major All-American is about and that will still get them a look. Lose at SIU and they will have trouble.

They can still do that on ESPN in March.

CU is playing their way into the dreaded 8-9 seed, but is at least two more unexpected losses from being on the bubble.

If they go all the way to the finals of MVC tourney with out any more losses they would most likely be safe. But any more losses and/or an early exit could cause a lot of second thoughts.
