Looks like a really solid tourney to me.

Football or basketball?

I see 1, maybe 2 tournament teams for this year in there. I'm not saying it isn't a decent tournament, but I wouldn't qualify it as "killer". I guess that was my only takeaway from that post. Maybe for Missouri State, it does qualify as "killer".

Good luck getting a MTE with 8 tournament teams. Even Maui doesn't do that. I think it looks like an extremely solid list, partially because it doesn't have any huge RPI bombs in it, so you're guaranteed 3 decent games at the least.

Everyone's doing well. Puerto Rico is a good but not spectacular field - which is exactly what MSU needs. Bradley will be punching above their weight. Even Alaska, which is in decline, is a pretty big coup for Loyola. Evansville is another punching above their weight in the Wooden Legacy. UNI at Diamond Head is a good get.

That leaves 4 on the board (SIU, ISUs, The Drake), and admittedly not a lot of room in the landscape for impact tournaments remaining.

The real question is Wichita, who if you look at the 2015-2017 schedules, will clearly be playing in an inferior tournament in 2015. Slackers

The only ones I know are UAA obviously and Cal State Bakersfield and well us. Other than that I am not sure but I think it will be a good tournament for us.
