Armstead was a TOTALLY different situation. 180 degrees diametrically opposed. Armstead hated Altman and never wanted to play for him for a minute. Armstead rejected Altman, instead of it working the other way around.

Something tells me this was always your problem with him, and worries over scholarship counts were just how you chose to frame your complaint. You don't want to feel like we're getting KU's leftovers.
Frankamp may have been moving to the bench in his sophomore year, but that does not make him a Kansas-reject. Whatever else you want to say about it, he chose to leave Kansas. He sacrificed a semester of eligibility to leave Kansas for WSU. There is no doubt that Bill Self still wanted him on their roster. There's no telling if Frankamp ever would have been good enough to start for Kansas ... and there's no telling if he'll ever be good enough to start for WSU. He has the same opportunity with WSU that he had with Kansas, except he sacrificed a semester of eligibility and likely quite a bit of out of pocket tuition to leave Kansas for WSU. He rejected Self and Kansas, NOT the other way around. The only difference between Armstead and Frankamp is that we KNOW Armstead hated Altman, and we don't KNOW that Frankamp hated Self ... but Armstead's minutes were also declining at Oregon when he transferred.
Regardless, I've got no doubt that he'll play excellent defense and with tremendous energy for WSU. Otherwise he simply won't play.

I tell you what, if Connor Frankamp ever plays in a game for Wichita State I meet you at 13th and Rochester in Wichita, Ks (where North High is located) under the Ginkgo tree and kiss your butt. I will also give you a check to the charity of your choice for $500.00.
