That first half for MoSt had to be so painful. They played terrific on offense and were still down by six. And had no chance at keeping up with the Shockers in the second half.

The WSU walkons/deep bench actually extended the lead on MoSt to 23 in the final minutes.

WSU's MOV over Valley teams now at 14.3 through seven.

What's the verdict? Looked like ISUb is for real from the box score, but obviously I didn't watch.

Another blowout win on the road for WSU.

The consolation prize for MSU fans is that they got to go home with some really cool t-shirts.

Ho hum outing from a PG only averaging 50% FGs, 50% 3s, 89% FTs, 6 APG, 4.3 RPG, 3.8:1 A:TO ratio in Valley games.

Still got to execute. Plus, IIR, Thomas is the leading scorer for the Ramblers this year.

Lansing knows what he's doing. Not sure what happened in the first 12 games but that was another solid ISUb team. Gant did a solid job on Tuttle (as usual), Scott is the best freshmen I've seen play this year and somehow, in the matter of 2 weeks, Panther fans have gone from asking why Deon Mitchell plays at all to asking why he doesn't play more. #3 team in the Valley based on their solid and consistent play since MVC play began.

I personally believe Deon helps us continue to widen that lead if he doesn't sit for most of the 2nd half and Washpun and Bohannon play for defense. Clearly the D wasn't good enough and Deon just keeps pushing that pace better than Wes. UNI starts blowing leads when they lay off the gas. This almost always lines up with Deon seeing extended minutes on the bench. Thing is he's a pretty good defender too (well frankly UNI doesn't have many kids who aren't solid defenders).
[Insert snappy comeback]

Would you really consider Thomas the best player for Loyola though? Not to mention I doubt he's been 100% at any point this season

UNI went cold in the second half...something like 6-19 from the field.

The game should never have been as close as it was. I don't know what it was in the second half but UNI just couldn't hit a shot and ISUb went through a stretch it seems like no matter what they threw up went in.

The officials allowed Gant to get all up inside Tuttle on post defense and it took him too long to get "over it" in the second half. The officials were strange both ways. This game really was the epitome of one time down the court just breathing was a foul and then the next time down the court you could have taken a lead pipe to a guys knee cap and it wasn't going to be called.

The fight UNI showed when it got rough in the second half was something the teams of the last couple season was missing. Last year's UNI teams loses that game by 12
